PMD-7005 | C18-PEG4-NHS, PEG MW 176 Da |
Description:
Tetraethylene glycol octadecyl ether is an amphiphilic surfactant PEG and can be used to form micelles, drug delivery systems to enhance drug solubility and improve drug formulation and bioavailability. The C18 hydrocarbon is attached to the short polyethylene glycol (PEG) through an ether bond and the PEG terminal has an activated carboxylic acid NHS ester. The N-hydroxylsuccinimide (N-succinimidyl) ester can readily react with primary amines.
